Job Description – MEP Construction Assurance Manager
Purpose
To provide construction assurance for works, ensuring installations are delivered safely, to the required quality standards, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor MEP construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Carry out site inspections and quality assurance checks on mechanical, electrical, and public health installations.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and health and safety requirements.
- Identify and manage construction risks, defects, and non-conformances.
- Support project delivery through regular reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Attend site and progress meetings, providing assurance on quality, safety, and progress.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practice.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in MEP construction assurance, site management, or building services.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems.
- Knowledge of construction quality processes and health and safety requirements.
- Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant engineering or building services qualification (desirable).
