Are you a Bid Writer looking to make your mark on multi-million-pound strategic bids?

Join a centralised bidding team in a fully remote role where you can use your writing, research and interviewing skills to develop compelling bid responses for complex and high-value opportunities.
Working alongside other bid writers and a range of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), you will support the Complex Facilities Management business in delivering high-quality, persuasive bid submissions.

What you will do
Review and analyse client documentation to identify key requirements, priorities and evaluation criteria, ensuring responses are relevant and aligned to client expectations.
Develop bid response structures and lead storyboard sessions with Subject Matter Experts to create clear and effective answer plans.
Draft high-quality responses and collaborate with SMEs to incorporate feedback and ensure technical accuracy.
Work closely with graphic designers to enhance responses through visual elements and clear presentation.
Ensure consistency, quality and compliance with word limits and submission requirements.
Collaborate with Bid Managers to resolve challenges and ensure deadlines are met.
Contribute to improving bid processes, including developing reusable evidence and boilerplate content, and capturing knowledge from SMEs.
Use AI tools where appropriate to support efficient content generation and development.
Support post-tender reviews and lessons-learned activities to drive continuous improvement in bid writing and submission processes.
What you will bring
1–2 years’ experience in bid writing or a similar role, ideally within facilities management, transport, infrastructure, engineering or consultancy sectors.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling content within tight deadlines.
Understanding of public sector procurement processes and bid writing best practice.
Resilience, flexibility and a positive approach when supporting complex or multi-stage bids.
Experience developing and maintaining knowledge libraries or content repositories.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels and build strong working relationships based on trust and credibility.
