We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager on behalf of our established construction client for critical infrastructure and building projects in Oxford and the surrounding areas. This is an interim position, offered inside IR35, with immediate starts available.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day on-site management of construction activities, ensuring delivery is aligned with programme schedules, budget, and quality standards, all while maintaining strict health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage site operations on live construction projects, acting as the main point of contact on-site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment, and logistics to ensure efficient site delivery.
• Monitor progress against project timelines and report regularly to the Project/Contracts Manager.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and company policies.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure safety documentation is up to date.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly and communicate with key stakeholders, including clients and consultants.
• Ensure quality control processes are followed and project documentation is maintained.

Requirements:

• Active SC Clearance - Essential
• Proven experience as a Site Manager in the UK construction industry
• Strong working knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain effective site coordination.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
