We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established organisation delivering large-scale, planned and responsive works within a regulated environment. Working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners, you’ll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and within budget. You’ll also contribute to commercial reporting, cost modelling, change control, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting dispute resolution and mentoring where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full commercial management of projects from inception to final account
  • Scoping, pricing and valuation of works using established pricing frameworks
  • Budget management, forecasting and cost reporting
  • Change control, risk management and financial governance
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, clients and subcontractors
  • Supporting continuous improvement and best commercial practice

Essential Criteria (Non-Negotiable)

Applications will only be considered if ALL of the below are met:

  • Proven Quantity Surveying experience within social housing
  • Strong, demonstrable knowledge of pricing frameworks
  • Experience within property maintenance, facilities management or construction
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills

Candidates without a social housing background or without pricing framework experience will be automatically rejected.

  • Salary £40,000 – £60,000
  • Company car or car allowance
  • 25 days annual leave
  • 6% employee-matched pension contribution
  • Single private medical cover
  • Life assurance (2x annual salary)
