Account Manager
Location: Northampton (Site-Based)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to oversee the delivery of facilities management services across a portfolio of educational sites in Northampton.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and delivering strong commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure health and safety standards are consistently achieved and maintained across the contract.
- Take ownership of the operational and financial performance of the contract, with a strong understanding of profit and loss management.
- Lead the delivery of services in line with contractual requirements and agreed operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, challenge existing processes, and drive operational and financial improvements.
- Promote innovation and lead initiatives that enhance service delivery.
- Monitor and manage contract performance, ensuring all service obligations and key performance indicators are met.
- Provide effective leadership and direction to operational teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working within a PFI environment or managing contracts against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Proven experience in delivering against contractual obligations.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Demonstrable experience managing contract performance and operational service delivery.
- A solid understanding of health and safety management.
- The ability to make informed decisions and take accountability for outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the credibility and gravitas expected of a senior leadership role.
Desirable Experience
- Experience leading change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of commercial contract management, including implementation, monitoring, and review processes.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for service enhancement and operational efficiency.
