The Role

We are looking for an experienced Multi Site Technician to join our team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a number of retail store locations within a specified region.

This is a key role where you will be responsible for ensuring a wide range of electrical, mechanical and building assets are maintained safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You will carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, working in line with company procedures, health and safety requirements and agreed contract service levels.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and ensuring remedial works are accurately logged and actioned.
  • Maintaining legal and statutory compliance across all relevant assets and equipment.
  • Prioritising maintenance and repair work to meet agreed timescales and contract SLAs.
  • Carrying out electrical, mechanical and general building maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintaining a range of equipment including bakery and catering equipment, pumps, fans, compressors and other mechanical assets.
  • Working on electrical systems, lighting, water services, building fabric and static and portable electrical equipment.
  • Providing a general maintenance and first-response service for HVAC, fire and security systems, electrical faults and general building issues.
  • Working efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures.

About You

We're looking for a technically capable and versatile maintenance professional who can work confidently across multiple disciplines and locations.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition).
  • Level 3 Core Electrical qualification, such as C&G 2330 or C&G 2365, with relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working in an electrical maintenance or similar multi-skilled role.
  • A full current driving licence.
  • Ability to work at height.

Desirable – But Not Essential

  • Experience completing electrical certification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection.
  • Time-served electrical experience or relevant industry experience in a similar role.
  • General plumbing and building maintenance experience.
  • Experience maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment such as fans, pumps and compressors.
