We are looking for a practical, customer-focused Technician to support the delivery of specialist ground engineering projects across the UK. Working alongside the site team, you will help carry out geotechnical procedures in line with agreed scopes of work and engineered designs.

You will work to agreed specifications, deadlines and targets, with a strong focus on quality, professionalism and customer satisfaction. Health, safety and environmental considerations will be central to everything you do.

Key responsibilities

Assist the site team in carrying out specialist geotechnical procedures.

Follow the scope of work and technical requirements set out in engineered designs.

Operate drilling machinery and other tools as required.

Follow written and verbal instructions from the on-site management team.

Help deliver work to agreed specifications, deadlines and targets.

Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach throughout each project.

Work safely in accordance with site health and safety procedures and policies, with due care for the environment.

Skills and experience

More than two years of experience in construction, preferably in groundworks, geotechnical works, civil engineering or house building.

Ability to operate drilling machinery and other tools required for the role.

Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions from the on-site management team.

A strong commitment to safe working practices and compliance with site procedures.

A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering quality work.

Plumbing experience relevant to drainage protection would also be beneficial.
