As Gas Compliance Supervisor, you will oversee gas compliance activities, ensuring servicing, repairs, installations, and compliance programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with current legislation and industry best practice. You will provide technical leadership, carry out quality inspections, support engineer development, and maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Gas Engineers and subcontractors.
- Monitor gas compliance across domestic and commercial properties.
- Carry out technical audits, inspections, and quality assurance checks.
- Ensure compliance with Gas Safety Regulations and industry standards.
- Review certification and compliance documentation.
- Investigate technical issues and provide guidance.
- Support operational planning and performance management.
- Mentor engineers and identify training needs.
- Monitor KPIs, compliance targets, and contract requirements.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Promote a strong health, safety, and compliance culture.
About You
Essential
- Extensive gas industry experience.
- Current ACS Gas qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyse compliance data and produce reports.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Social housing or property maintenance experience.
- OFTEC, LPG, Commercial Gas, or other technical qualifications.
- IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience with compliance management systems and auditing.
