Sellafield Ltd has appointed Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, Costain, and HOCHTIEF (UK) as the core delivery firms in a new Infrastructure Delivery Partnership (IDP) valued up to £2.9 billion.
Over the next 9 to 15 years (initial term 9 years + option for 6 more), the IDP will handle non-nuclear infrastructure across the site: electrical distribution, utilities, roads, bridges, foundations, security, and associated design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
The contract includes commitments to social value, local economic growth, skills development, apprenticeships, and sustainability, aligning infrastructure delivery with Sellafield’s community and environmental priorities.
