RSK Group, the UK-based environmental and engineering services group, has acquired Octavius Infrastructure formerly part of the Osborne Group from Sullivan Street Partners. The latest annual results show Octavius reported pre-tax profits of £8.6 m on turnover of £323 m (year to 31 March 2025).

Octavius is a specialist in the rail and highways sectors, with over 700 employees working across rail and electrification and highway networks. It holds more than 30 frameworks and its current projects include schemes such as the refurbishment of Ryde Pier (Isle of Wight), Waterloo Station Roof, new railway stations at Okehampton and Charfield, the A46 Walsgrave Junction Upgrade, and the recently completed A140 Long Stratton Bypass.

Octavius will continue to operate under its brand and leadership team. CEO John Dowsett, along with his executive team (including highways MD Gavin Pritchard and rail MD Matt Smith), will remain in place.
