OCS has won a new security services contract with Tesco covering around 300 stores across Scotland and Northern Ireland. The report states no contract value or duration has been disclosed.

Around 300 Tesco security staff are expected to transfer to OCS under TUPE. Services will include in-store security, customer-facing safety support, and coordinated mobile patrols across the estate.

The arrangement also introduces an estate ambassador model, intended to link individual stores with local networks and agencies to support intelligence sharing and locally adapted crime-prevention activity. OCS will deliver induction and training for transferring colleagues, including customer-service-led guarding, incident response and vulnerability awareness.
