BSI has published BS 30480, a free guidance standard to help organisations plan for, respond to, and support people affected by suicide in workplace settings. It sets a practical framework to identify and manage suicide risk, strengthen policies and culture, equip people to hold confident conversations, and put clear post-incident support in place for colleagues and families.
Sector bodies, including IWFM, have welcomed the launch and highlighted its relevance to workplace and facilities leaders responsible for safe, supportive environments.
