Kier has been selected by Norfolk County Council to deliver the authority’s highways and infrastructure term services from 1 April 2026, on a contract worth £700m for up to 14 years. The programme covers Norfolk’s 9,836 km network, including surfacing, bridges and structures, temporary works design, surface dressing, and cyclical maintenance such as drainage cleansing and grass cutting.
The partnership includes commitments on sustainability and community benefits, with plans to embed new technologies, support local SMEs, promote active travel, and create local opportunities including programmes for care leavers. Congratulations to Kier on the award.
