The role requires someone who can operate confidently in a live construction environment and take responsibility for ensuring temporary works are appropriately planned, reviewed, approved, installed and inspected.

Immediate start is available, subject to BPSS requirements.

  • Conduct briefings, toolbox talks and site coordination meetings where required.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, designers, subcontractors and client representatives.
  • Ensure site records, permits, inspections and other relevant documentation are maintained.
  • Proactively identify risks, constraints and opportunities and work with the project team to resolve them.

  • Coordinate the planning, design, approval, installation, inspection, modification and removal of temporary works.
  • Maintain and manage the Temporary Works Register.
  • Ensure temporary works are appropriately categorised and progressed through the required approval process.
  • Coordinate with Temporary Works Designers, engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.
  • Review temporary works designs and associated documentation to ensure they are suitable for the planned works.
  • Ensure temporary works are installed and used in accordance with approved designs and method statements.
  • Coordinate inspections and ensure temporary works remain suitable throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure any changes to temporary works are appropriately assessed, reviewed and approved before implementation.
  • Ensure temporary works are properly recorded and documented throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Escalate any temporary works concerns, risks or non-conformances to the appropriate project personnel.
