Account Executive – North America
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a driven Account Executive with a background in industrial sales to take ownership of growth across the North American market. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical sales environment, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue across capital equipment, aftermarket services, and spare parts.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and expand the installed base across North America.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities in recycling and metal processing industries.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposals to closing and aftersales support.
- Collaborate with product management and service teams to align on market needs and customer feedback.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting using CRM tools (Salesforce).
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Represent the business at industry meetings, events, and associations.
- Travel extensively (up to 75%, including international travel) to visit clients and sites.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in industrial field sales.
- Background in recycling equipment, heavy machinery, or related capital equipment sales strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid understanding of shredders, shears, balers, or related machinery is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working independently, with a self-starter mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Valid driver’s license required.
