About this Role

Our client, a leading Facilities Management provider, is seeking an experienced and driven Continuous Improvement Manager to support the delivery of operational excellence across a major UK contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive improvement professional to lead and embed continuous improvement initiatives across a large-scale operational environment, driving measurable improvements in efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.


The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering change and transformation initiatives, implementing Business Process Management (BPM) frameworks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, design, and implement continuous improvement projects that enhance operational performance and customer experience, leading all aspects of the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver monthly updates on live projects and improvement initiatives to senior stakeholder boards, highlighting risks, issues, progress, and key decisions.
  • Ensure all projects and initiatives are supported by detailed project plans, milestones, and appropriate governance documentation.
  • Facilitate and coordinate Continuous Improvement Champion Board meetings, including preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, action tracking, and follow-up activities.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues associated with improvement projects, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
  • Own and manage the delivery plan for agreed improvement activities within the assigned workstream.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements, manage expectations, and align improvement activity with operational objectives.
  • Monitor and report on improvement outcomes, ensuring benefits are measured, realised, and documented.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operational, systems, IT, and BI reporting teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Use data analysis and reporting insights to identify improvement opportunities and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Coach and support Continuous Improvement and Business Intelligence champions across the business.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across senior management and operational teams.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of Business Process Management (BPM) frameworks across all functions.
  • Develop and maintain process catalogues, ensuring clear alignment to operational delivery and business objectives.


Candidate Requirements

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree-level education
  • Recognised Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement qualification (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM)
  • Project or change management certification such as PRINCE2 or Agile



Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering improvement and change projects
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to a variety of audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience simplifying complex processes into practical improvements
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and build relationships across multiple functions and stakeholder groups
