We are partnering with a market-leading Facilities Management organisation to appoint an experienced Asset Manager to lead the standardisation and process development for a major government contract mobilisation.
This pivotal role will drive the mobilisation of asset data and CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and operational readiness across a complex public sector portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a standardised mobilisation process for the CAFM system.
Develop frameworks for government asset and maintenance structures compliant with FM0002 standards.
Establish UNICLASS and NRM coding structures within asset hierarchies and datasets.
Produce documentation, guidance, and training materials to support ongoing mobilisation activities.
Build and refine data manipulation tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Review and optimise existing workflows to align with industry best practices and operational goals.
Essential Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
Proven experience in asset management and contract mobilisation within Facilities Management or similar sectors.
Strong hands-on experience with CAFM systems (preferably Maximo) in government or regulated environments.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Knowledge of UNICLASS and NRM classification systems.
Ability to define and implement robust data governance processes.
Professional Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills across all stakeholder levels.
Proven ability to produce clear, high-quality reports and technical documentation.
Strong team collaboration and relationship management abilities.
Highly organised with exceptional planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of commercial tendering and asset collection processes.
Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Positive, adaptable, and resilient under pressure.
Desirable
Experience working in critical environments or on large public sector contracts.
Understanding of ISO 55001 asset management standards.
Familiarity with Power BI or advanced CAFM reporting tools.
Experience managing document repositories such as SharePoint.
