This is a chance to take full ownership of the programme lifecycle—from tracking live project status and managing future pipelines to identifying risks, unlocking progress, and ensuring on-time delivery. You’ll sit at the heart of operations, working closely with delivery teams, finance, commercial, and supply chain colleagues to maintain alignment and visibility across all workstreams.
Your core responsibility will be to maintain accurate, live programme data and translate it into meaningful insights. You’ll create engaging reports and dashboards that go beyond presenting numbers—they’ll tell a story. You’ll use data to identify trends, highlight constraints, and shape the conversations that inform strategic decisions.
From forecasting future works to supporting sustainability and carbon-reduction initiatives, your analysis and coordination will directly influence outcomes across multiple projects.
This isn’t just a reporting role—it’s a pivotal coordination position that connects operational delivery, commercial management, and client engagement. You’ll ensure programme data remains consistent, transparent, and compliant with contractual requirements. You’ll manage documentation, version control, and provide clear, timely updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Your insights will help teams plan effectively, manage workloads efficiently, and keep all parties—senior leadership included—confident in the progress being made.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in programme coordination, project controls, or data reporting, ideally within construction, facilities management, housing, or infrastructure.
You’ll need:
Advanced Excel skills and experience with tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
The ability to interpret and present complex datasets clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A methodical approach to managing information and ensuring governance compliance.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills—you’ll need to work effectively across multiple teams and disciplines.
Experience with NEC or JCT contracts, minor works, or public-sector infrastructure projects would be a distinct advantage.
This role suits someone who is:
Highly organised and detail-focused.
Confident handling competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Proactive in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
Comfortable presenting data-driven insights to senior stakeholders.
Why This Role Matters
You’ll play a central role in ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, transparently, and in line with expectations. Your work will support the creation and maintenance of safe, sustainable, and high-quality environments for end users—contributing to outcomes that make a tangible difference.
In Summary
If you’re a data-savvy professional who enjoys turning complexity into clarity and wants to be at the core of a high-performing programme team, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
You’ll gain broad exposure across multiple functions, enjoy genuine responsibility, and play a key part in delivering critical infrastructure and building services.
If that sounds like the challenge you’ve been looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
