About the Role

As Head of Commercial, you'll be central to business transformation, collaborating closely with our Operations and Commercial leadership. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and executing cost-saving strategies and revenue-generating models.

• Managing and elevating supplier relationships through performance monitoring and compliance oversight.

• Serving as the trusted adviser on commercial, legal, and procurement matters across the organisation.

• Strengthening risk management by developing robust frameworks spanning financial, operational, and technical domains.

• Supporting sustainability objectives by embedding carbon reduction and greener practices into deliverables across our estate.

• Inspiring confidence among stakeholders at every level, becoming the go-to partner for our clients’ commercial teams.

What You’ll Need

We seek a commercially astute leader with:

• A graduate-level qualification in law, surveying, or the built environment—preferably with chartered status.

• Proven commercial leadership experience, ideally within housing or a related sector.

• Strong expertise in UK commercial and contract law, including managing complex agreements and negotiations.

• Exceptional financial acumen, with the ability to analyse data, model risks, and translate insights into strategic action.

• A demonstrated track record of building trust and collaborative partnerships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
