Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in promoting development projects from the earliest stages of planning through to completion. The role combines strategic planning, campaign delivery, and stakeholder engagement to ensure each project is successfully positioned and communicated.
The successful candidate will develop collateral to support planning applications, community consultations, and project marketing, while also driving awareness during construction and launch phases. This is a role for a creative, commercially minded, and highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced, construction-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Campaign Delivery
Create and implement marketing plans across the full lifecycle of projects.
Produce high-quality collateral (presentations, brochures, digital assets) for planning and stakeholder engagement.
Manage budgets, timelines, and campaign KPIs to ensure impact and efficiency.
Align project marketing with wider brand strategy.
Planning and Pre-Construction Marketing
Support land and planning teams with consultation materials and presentations.
Develop clear, community-facing collateral to secure local support.
Ensure all materials meet professional and planning-stage requirements.
Construction Site Marketing
Deliver on-site marketing including hoardings, signage, and promotional displays.
Coordinate milestone photography, videography, and drone footage.
Organise site tours, ceremonies, and project completion events.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build relationships with local authorities, community groups, and operator partners.
Support public consultations and external communications.
Manage media engagement and generate positive local press coverage.
Digital and Content Marketing
Create and manage digital content across microsites, social channels, and email campaigns.
Work with agencies to deliver creative, consistent campaigns.
Track and report digital performance analytics.
Market Research and Insight
Undertake competitor and demographic analysis to inform campaign positioning.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Internal Collaboration
Partner with construction, land, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment.
Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.
Share knowledge and best practice across the business.
Candidate Profile
Experience
Background in property, real estate, construction, or place-based marketing.
Proven ability to deliver campaigns across planning, construction, and launch stages.
Experience producing collateral for planning submissions and land promotion.
Knowledge of community engagement and B2B communications.
Strong understanding of digital, PR, and offline marketing channels.
