Social Value Officer

What will you deliver?

Coordinate and deliver Social Value (SV) activities across multiple contracts, ensuring alignment with bid commitments and agreed timescales.

Accurately record and report Social Value outputs across regional projects in line with internal processes.

Support the development of Social Value content for bids and tenders, aligned with regional and client objectives.

Promote Social Value initiatives both internally and externally to drive engagement and awareness.

Coordinate and facilitate Social Value activities aligned to relevant covenants (e.g. employment, education, and community initiatives), including site visits, work experience placements, and engagement workshops.

Maximise awareness of Social Value achievements through appropriate channels, including social media.

Maintain accurate records of all activity using internal tracking systems.

Represent the organisation, where required, at local forums and focus groups relating to education, employment, and skills development.

Who are we looking for?

Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders

Confident in analysing and interpreting numerical data

Able to work independently across multiple projects and effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines

Flexible and willing to travel regularly to sites and client locations

Knowledge of Social Value legislation in the UK & Ireland

Understanding of apprenticeship schemes in the UK & Ireland
