Overview

An established creative production business is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to lead the design of bespoke exhibition stands and immersive experiential environments. This is a senior, hands-on role for a creative professional who combines strong conceptual thinking with technical excellence and commercial awareness.

You will play a key role in shaping innovative, brand-led environments, working closely with sales, account, and project teams to deliver standout design solutions that meet both creative and practical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creative concept development for custom-built exhibition stands and experiential event spaces.

Produce high-quality 2D and 3D drawings and visualisations using Vectorworks and 3D Studio Max.

Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to support client pitches and presentations.

Interpret client briefs and feedback, refining concepts to meet objectives, budgets, and build feasibility.

Maintain a strong understanding of spatial design, construction methods, and materials.

Apply commercial awareness to designs, considering cost, build time, and delivery methods.

Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practice, introducing innovative ideas into the design process.

Contribute positively to a collaborative studio culture and support less experienced designers where required.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proven experience designing custom-built exhibition stands and experiential environments.

Advanced proficiency in Vectorworks and 3D Studio Max.

Strong understanding of spatial design, construction methods, and build feasibility.

Solid awareness of cost of delivery across different design and construction approaches.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence presenting ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

Desirable:

Experience working on international projects.

Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials.
