Quantity Surveyor

On behalf of our client, a well-established construction contractor, we are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide immediate commercial support across a portfolio of larger-scale construction projects based in the Oxfordshire region. This is a key interim role requiring a capable individual who can work independently within a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day commercial management on multiple active construction sites.

Support project teams with cost control, change management, and subcontractor liaison.

Assist with valuations, cost reporting, procurement, and final accounts.

Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities across the project lifecycle.

Work collaboratively with site management and the wider commercial team.

Liaise with the Bromsgrove office as required (minimal travel expected).

Requirements:

Proven track record in commercial management within the UK construction industry.

Strong knowledge of NEC or JCT contract forms.

Ability to work on-site in Oxfordshire on a regular basis.

BPSS clearance is the minimum requirement (support available to process this); existing SC clearance is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Able to work independently and take initiative in a contractor environment.
