Project Manager

Our client, a leading name in the UK construction sector, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and deliver projects across all RIBA stages. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile programme in the Bicester area, requiring a proactive and technically strong professional with proven delivery experience from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects in line with RIBA Stages 0–7, ensuring quality, cost, programme, and compliance objectives are met.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Lead project planning, procurement, and risk management activities.

Ensure compliance with client governance, health & safety, and sustainability standards.

Report project progress, budgets, and risks to senior stakeholders and clients.

Oversee design reviews, site operations, and change control processes.

Maintain excellent client relationships and act as the primary project interface.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager delivering projects across all RIBA stages.

Strong technical understanding of design, procurement, and delivery processes.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working on complex, secure, or government-related projects.

Must hold current and valid SC (Security Check) Clearance.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent).

Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.

Desirable

Experience working within MOD or other government frameworks.

Chartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, or equivalent).

Familiarity with NEC or JCT contract forms.
