The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management organisation for an experienced Billable Works Manager to oversee the delivery of small works and minor projects across secure sites.
Reporting to the Line Manager, you’ll manage all stages of project delivery — from scoping through to completion — ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Acting as Temporary Works Coordinator and fulfilling CDM Principal Designer/Principal Contractor duties, you’ll bring strong technical expertise and a proactive, safety-first approach.
You’ll identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability, manage waste and F-Gas compliance, and ensure all works contribute to a more resilient and sustainable estate. As the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for end users, you’ll deliver responsive, customer-focused solutions while managing any issues professionally and efficiently.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience delivering projects and hard FM services in a secure or regulated environment.
Strong understanding of CDM regulations, asbestos management, and energy performance standards.
Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (ONC/BTEC or equivalent).
Training in Asbestos Awareness, Legionella Control, and Fire Safety (desirable).
Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.
Strong organisational ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
