Delivering essential maintenance services, you’ll work on gas boilers, heating plants, and ventilation systems—supporting both planned and reactive maintenance. Expect a varied workload, from PPMs to emergency callouts, using modern handheld technology to manage tasks and documentation. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of client facilities, meeting all statutory requirements while consistently exceeding service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on gas boilers, heating plants, and ventilation equipment.

• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with relevant legislation and compliance standards.

• Accurately complete all associated records and documentation using handheld devices.

• Support emergency callouts and assist in maintaining critical building systems.

• Monitor subcontractors, issue permits to work, and identify opportunities for service improvements or additional works.

• Contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused team environment that promotes continuous improvement.



Requirements

• Gas Qualifications: Valid certifications including COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, and CODNCO1.

• Technical Experience: Demonstrable experience in maintenance, fault finding, and repair of gas boilers, heating systems, pumps, and ventilation equipment.

• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required to travel between client sites.

• Compliance & Documentation: Strong understanding of statutory maintenance requirements and the ability to maintain precise records.

• Flexibility & Teamwork: Willingness to participate in an on-call rota, collaborate with colleagues, and oversee contractor performance when needed.
