Procurement manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of services across facilities management contracts.

This role is central to developing and delivering an effective procurement and supply chain strategy that supports operational performance, achieves value for money, and encourages innovation, quality, and sustainability.

Working closely with operational, technical, and commercial stakeholders, you will create service-based procurement strategies that ensure suppliers can meet contractual requirements and deliver excellent outcomes for clients and end users. You will manage end-to-end service procurement activity, from reviewing specifications and Statements of Work through to sourcing, negotiation, contract award, and mobilisation.

Supplier relationship management is a key part of the role. You will build strong, collaborative partnerships with service providers, monitor performance, compliance, and KPIs, and lead regular review meetings with technical colleagues. You will also carry out market testing and benchmarking to maintain competitiveness, identify efficiency and innovation opportunities, and embed best practice across the supply chain.

In addition, you will work with the sustainability team to ensure suppliers align with sustainability goals and organisational values. Acting as a trusted adviser across the business, you will promote strong governance, ensuring procurement activity meets contractual and corporate requirements and that stakeholders are fully engaged in decision-making.
