Mechanical Project Manager

An excellent opportunity is available for a Mechanical Project Manager to join an established building services contractor. The role has been created to support a growing workload and will involve working as part of an experienced team delivering projects within the commercial and retail sectors.

The position will require you to manage a varied portfolio of mechanical projects, overseeing works from initial enquiry through to completion and final account. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of mechanical projects.

Assist in directing and monitoring site teams to ensure projects progress in line with programme and quality standards.

Produce scopes of work from client briefs, specifications, or drawings.

Work with design teams to plan and agree project phasing and delivery programmes.

Review and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure value and compliance with agreed rates.

Attend site during key stages of project delivery to monitor progress and resolve issues.

Participate in project and design team meetings where required.

Carry out site surveys to support project planning and delivery.

Monitor project KPIs and support reporting requirements.

Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

Skills and Experience Required

Previous experience in a Mechanical Project Management or supervisory role within building services.

Good understanding of mechanical installations within commercial environments.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with a range of stakeholders.

Strong organisational and communication skills.
