Hygiene Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Hygiene Team Leader to oversee a cleaning team and ensure the delivery of high-quality routine and periodic cleaning services for our clients. This role includes recruitment, training, and development of staff, maintaining excellent service standards, and supporting a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring tasks are completed to schedule and meet quality standards.

• Provide technical training to staff, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety procedures and correct cleaning methods.

• Monitor standards of cleanliness, supervise the use of materials, and manage uniform distribution.

• Order cleaning supplies and manage stock levels as needed.

• Address operational issues promptly and professionally, escalating to line management when appropriate.

• Support the development and performance of team members through coaching and guidance.



Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or hygiene environment.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently while following a set schedule.
