We are seeking an experienced Hygiene Team Leader to oversee a cleaning team and ensure the delivery of high-quality routine and periodic cleaning services for our clients. This role includes recruitment, training, and development of staff, maintaining excellent service standards, and supporting a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring tasks are completed to schedule and meet quality standards.
Provide technical training to staff, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety procedures and correct cleaning methods.
Monitor standards of cleanliness, supervise the use of materials, and manage uniform distribution.
Order cleaning supplies and manage stock levels as needed.
Address operational issues promptly and professionally, escalating to line management when appropriate.
Support the development and performance of team members through coaching and guidance.
Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or hygiene environment.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently while following a set schedule.
Professional attitude with the ability to motivate and support a team.
