Electrical Services Manager

We are working with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-quality estates maintenance service across a large, complex site.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of in-house teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure maintenance services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with statutory requirements. The role places a strong emphasis on health & safety, operational excellence, and effective communication at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and manage all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities for buildings, plant, and equipment using a CAFM system (e.g. Maximo).

Manage and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure value for money and high service standards.

Ensure all response and rectification times are achieved by staff and subcontractors, with works completed safely, diligently, and without unnecessary delay.

Hold regular performance meetings with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Take overall responsibility for safe working practices and the integrity of the building fabric and all mechanical and electrical plant.

Ensure the reliability and compliance of critical electrical systems, including HV, LV, lighting, and associated infrastructure.

Advise senior management on statutory compliance and ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, standards, and sector-specific requirements.

Promote a strong health & safety culture and ensure efficient use of resources across the service.
