On behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider, we are recruiting for an experienced Contract Manager to join their team.

The Role

As a Contract Manager, you will manage and coordinate the fulfilment of client site requirements. You’ll work closely with internal counsel, operational teams, and other business functions to collect and analyse information, identify potential issues, and develop robust contracts that support ongoing facilities services.

This position sits within the Client Management function, which focuses on delivering contracted services to clients, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded. You’ll oversee project scope, schedule, risks, and budgets—ensuring subcontractors and operational teams have a clear understanding of client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of site management, ensuring service delivery meets client and contractual requirements.

  • Review, interpret, and analyse contracts and service agreements to ensure compliance with legal guidelines, contracting principles, and cost constraints.

  • Assess contract amendments and extension requests, recommending approval or alternative solutions to reduce risk.

  • Develop, review, and evaluate proposals for new or ongoing facility services, advising on best path forward.

  • Collaborate across business functions to align practices and ensure integration of processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that arise within site or contractual management.

  • Lead and support the team’s contribution to service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Communicate complex information clearly, set performance expectations, and handle sensitive matters with diplomacy.

  • Conduct financial analysis including cost comparisons, savings opportunities, and forecasting.

  • Manage vendor relationships, invoicing, and billing procedures.

  • Deliver training on maintenance, repair, and safety procedures.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily team activities, ensuring adherence to standards.

  • Influence and negotiate with stakeholders to align on shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in contract management, facilities management, or a related discipline.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to integrate knowledge of your discipline with broader business objectives to achieve team and departmental success.
