Location: Home-based
Salary: £50,000 per annum

The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced CAFM Manager to play a key role in bridging operational delivery and CAFM system development across a large, complex FM environment. This is a home-based role with strong stakeholder engagement across operations, IT, and senior leadership.
You will take ownership of CAFM governance, system optimisation, and continuous improvement, ensuring the CAFM platform fully supports operational effectiveness, mobilisation activity, and long-term asset management.

Reports to: Senior CAFM Development Manager
Direct reports: None
Budget responsibility: None
Internal stakeholders:
Contract Managers, Account Leads, IT Leads/Managers, Commercial Managers, CAFM team members
External stakeholders:
Consultants, partners, suppliers, and clients/customers
Key Responsibilities
Act as the key interface between operational teams and the CAFM function, ensuring systems align with business objectives
Lead the development and management of a CAFM Super User Community, facilitating workshops and forums to drive innovation and best practice
Own CAFM governance, working closely with CAFM Technical Managers and IT partners to prioritise improvements and workstreams
Conduct audits and validation of operational CAFM usage and procedures
Collaborate with Regional Directors and Business Managers to design, document, test, and embed CAFM workflows
Support mobilisation of new contracts, including full CAFM implementation as part of the operational solution
Identify, report, and resolve system issues through structured action plans
Evaluate new systems, upgrades, and software releases, producing review papers and recommendations
Build and manage large datasets relating to PPM activity and asset information for CAFM import and operational use

Skills & Experience
Essential:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar CAFM or systems-focused role
Strong experience with CAFM solutions, including database structures, configuration, and coding
Ability to map and document processes and procedures
Solid understanding of PPM schedules and asset lifecycle management
Experience with FSI Concept Evolution
Desirable:
Experience with mobile CAFM solutions
Involvement in large-scale mobilisation and demobilisation projects
Strong reporting and data visualisation skills (Power BI and/or Tableau)
Workflow design experience
Basic knowledge of SQL
