CAD Technician

We are seeking an experienced Interim CAD Technician to support a comprehensive update of CAD drawings across a large and complex estate portfolio. This is a short-term contract role (approximately 3 months) with an immediate requirement for a candidate who can start in early March.

The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing, updating, and standardising existing CAD documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current site conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Review and update existing CAD drawings across multiple buildings and assets within a large estate.

Amend architectural, M&E, and infrastructure drawings to reflect recent changes and current layouts.

Ensure all drawings meet organisational CAD standards and naming conventions.

Work closely with estates, facilities, and project teams to verify information.

Maintain drawing registers and document control processes.

Identify discrepancies between site conditions and existing drawings and propose corrections.

Support ad hoc CAD requirements as needed during the contract period.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience working as a CAD Technician within estates, facilities management, construction, or property environments.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD software).

Experience updating legacy drawings and working with large drawing sets.

Excellent attention to detail and strong document control discipline.

Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple assets.

Active SC (Security Clearance) – mandatory.

Available to start in early March.
