We are seeking a skilled Mobile Water Hygiene Engineer to carry out a range of Legionella maintenance tasks, including PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, minor plumbing, and electro-mechanical work to meet client requirements.

Main Responsibilities
Routine Monitoring: Complete scheduled water hygiene monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8 and current industry standards.
Mobile Role: Travel to various client sites to perform maintenance and ensure systems remain fully compliant.
Health & Safety: Always work to the highest safety standards and actively contribute to a strong QHSE culture.
Customer Relations: Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining a positive and proactive approach when on client premises.
Documentation: Maintain water logbooks and complete all required reports and documentation accurately and in accordance with guidelines and company procedures.
Sampling: Collect and record water samples from a variety of sites, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory procedures.
System Cleaning & Disinfection: Carry out cleaning and disinfection of water systems following ACoP L8 and internal procedures.
Maintenance & Servicing: Test, service, and maintain thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and perform basic plumbing tasks where required.
Additional Systems: Experience with heating and chilled water systems, chlorine dioxide units, and dosing systems is desirable but not essential.
Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with management and clients regarding task completion, issues identified, or any health and safety concerns.
Inventory Management: Ensure sufficient stocks of chemicals and materials are available and stored correctly.
Equipment Care: Keep all assigned tools and equipment clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order.
Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
Personal Responsibility: Take full responsibility for your own health and safety, as well as that of others. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE as required by company policy and site-specific regulations.
Other Duties: Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as requested by management or the business.
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience and Skills
Proven experience in compliance servicing, Legionella monitoring, or water treatment.
Solid understanding of water system maintenance and relevant legislation.
Basic IT proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
Desirable Skills
Experience working with heating/chilled water systems or dosing systems.
Knowledge of mechanical or plumbing systems beyond basic maintenance.
