On-Site
We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading Facilities Management provider for the role of Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of delivering vital Billable Works projects across a complex and high-profile estate—projects that make a real difference to communities and stakeholders. From the moment a requirement is identified through to completion, you’ll be the driving force ensuring work is safe, compliant, efficient, and delivered to the highest quality standards.
The Role
You’ll lead projects from scope definition through to final handover, working closely with stakeholders to agree requirements, develop designs, and create robust tender packages. Collaborating with the commercial team, you’ll manage the tender process, assess technical proposals, and ensure solutions provide value for money while meeting operational needs.
On site, you’ll oversee contractors to ensure only suitably qualified and experienced personnel are deployed. You’ll review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements, making sure all activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. You’ll track progress, performance, and quality, stepping in early where necessary to keep projects on course and stakeholders informed.
Financial management will also be central to your role. You’ll take responsibility for budget control, aligning costs with programme and operational priorities, while mitigating risks through proactive strategies. You’ll ensure that all project documentation is accurate, timely, and properly recorded in client systems.
What You’ll Bring
Proven background in project management, including managing contractors, controlling budgets, and coordinating multiple priorities.
Strong experience of site supervision, with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to solve problems decisively under pressure.
A qualification in Building, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
A recognised Health & Safety management qualification such as SMSTS.
A track record of delivering projects safely, sustainably, and to a high standard of quality.
If you’re ready to combine operational leadership with a commitment to safety, sustainability, and delivering real value, this is an exciting opportunity to join a leading FM organisation and play a key role in projects that matter.
