Service Manager

For this role you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all Reactive and Programmed maintenance across designated sites. You will ensure services are delivered in line with statutory legislation. Managing both your team and supply partners, you will be accountable for ensuring that all key performance indicators are consistently achieved, and that service delivery meets the highest possible standards.

The Role

Day-to-day, you will take ownership of ensuring all documentation relating to Reactive and Planned Maintenance is accurate, completed promptly, and recorded against the correct assets within the CAFM system. You will oversee the maintenance of both the Establishment Specific Task Schedule (ESTS) and the Forward Additional Services Plan (FASP), ensuring compliance and effective planning across your area of responsibility.

Statutory compliance will be central to your role. You will monitor the compliance state of all sites under your management, mitigating risks associated with any overdue statutory or mandatory tasks by working closely with our client. Alongside this, you will actively identify opportunities to support our clients Net Zero carbon reduction targets, initiating Billable Works projects and sustainability initiatives to deliver long-term value.

We are looking for people who bring a strong technical foundation, with an ONC or equivalent qualification in Building, Civil Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or demonstrable experience in a related discipline. Continuing Professional Development will be expected, alongside technical training to maintain competence and awareness of asbestos and legionella responsibilities. Familiarity with site assets and Safe Systems of Work will be key, as will recognised qualifications such as IOSH, Emergency First Aid, and Fire Safety.
