Microsoft Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Power Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain innovative business applications that improve operational performance and support the delivery of infrastructure, asset, and facilities management services. This is a newly created role within a rapidly expanding organisation, offering the opportunity to shape and grow our digital capabilities from the ground up.

The Role

As part of the Technology Team, you will play a central role in translating business requirements into scalable, user-friendly digital solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and IT colleagues, you will design and develop applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), automate workflows through Power Automate, and manage data structures within Dataverse. A strong ability to understand and document business processes—and convert them into effective technical solutions—will be essential.

You will integrate Power Platform solutions across the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics 365, while also developing custom connectors for external APIs and services. You will take responsibility for application design, configuration, testing, and deployment, ensuring all solutions deliver excellent performance, security, and user experience. Supporting end-users through documentation, troubleshooting, and training will be a key part of the role, along with ensuring all developments follow best practices and evolving platform standards.

What You'll Bring

This position requires strong technical expertise and creative problem-solving. You will use tools such as Power BI, Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, and SQL to deliver functionality and insights that support decision-making across the business. Knowledge of Azure services, REST APIs, and custom connector development is an advantage, as is experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

You will bring proven experience in developing enterprise-level Power Platform solutions, along with a solid understanding of data modelling, business intelligence, and database management. Experience with the wider Microsoft Business Intelligence stack—such as Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, or Azure Data Factory—is highly desirable, as is familiarity with advanced analytics, including predictive or prescriptive modelling.

Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. You will work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and consistently deliver high-quality applications that align with business goals.
