Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

This role involves joining an established team to provide additional support in response to a significant increase in workload. The projects are primarily within the commercial retail sector, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of contracts from initial enquiry through to final account settlement.

Experience in fast-track LED lighting projects would be advantageous, although it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Lead, plan, motivate, and monitor project teams to ensure successful delivery

Prepare detailed scopes of work based on client briefs or technical drawings

Coordinate and agree project phasing with the design team

Monitor supplier quotations and ensure alignment with agreed rates

Oversee and manage on-site project phases

Attend and contribute to design team meetings as required

Conduct site surveys to inform project planning and delivery

Ensure weekly KPI tracking and reporting is completed

Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times

Skills and Experience Required

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

Valid First Aid Certificate

Asbestos Awareness certification

18th Edition qualification

ECS Management Card
