Account Manager – Facilities Management (Education Portfolio)

Bradford | 37.5 hours per week | Company Car/Allowance + Bonus

We are currently partnering with a leading UK facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Account Manager to oversee a significant education portfolio based in Bradford.

This is a high-profile leadership role responsible for the strategic, operational and commercial performance of a multi-site PFI schools contract. The portfolio includes a mix of secondary and specialist education settings, delivering 24/7 FM services in a live, stakeholder-focused environment.

If you are a commercially driven FM professional with strong PFI experience and a passion for operational excellence, this is an outstanding opportunity to take full ownership of a long-term contract.

The Role

As Account Manager, you will have full accountability for contract performance, financial delivery and service excellence across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring Health & Safety compliance and best practice across all sites

Full ownership of the contract P&L and commercial performance

Delivering services in line with contractual KPIs and SLAs

Leading, motivating and developing multidisciplinary operational teams

Driving efficiencies, innovation and continuous improvement

Managing client relationships and acting as the senior point of contact

Ensuring contractual obligations are met consistently and effectively

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

Experience managing a PFI contract or operating within a highly SLA-driven environment

Strong commercial acumen with proven P&L responsibility

Extensive people management and leadership experience

A track record of delivering against contractual performance targets

Strong Health & Safety leadership experience

The ability to influence, challenge and drive operational improvements

Credibility and gravitas appropriate for a senior leadership role

Experience reviewing and interpreting commercial contracts would be advantageous.
